Happy Holidays Foodwishers!

I want to wish all of you and your families a very happy holiday and fantastic New Year! I can't thank you enough for visiting and contributing to the site this year. Every day you help me keep the dream alive – the dream of a self-supporting, free video recipe blog where cooks of all skill levels can come to watch, listen, learn and enjoy.

As you enjoy your holiday feasts, take a few moments to look around the table and remind yourself what a magical effect great food has on people. Hopefully it will inspire you to reach even greater culinary heights in 2010.

Michele and I will be taking a little break for the Christmas holiday, but I'll be back soon – filming, posting, and hopefully making some of your food wishes come true. Enjoy!!

Peace and Love,
Chef John

Your blog is truly amazing. Sometimes I'm up way later than I should be just watching your cooking videos. Happy holidays, I hope you have a great one!

You're the man chef john! i have tried your prime rid 'method x' for two years. the first time i didn't listen and the meat wasn't thawed out enough for the perfect medium rare prime rib, 'course, how else do you eat it?!' yet, i tried again and i trusted you on thanksgiving and it came out better than perfect.. and the best part is since i did it so well, not only can i do it again for lunch, but i can make a nice young bird for dinner! i can't wait to make gravy for the first time! have a wonderful merry christmas dude! oh, and btw, the perfect medium rare prime rib is on my top two favorite dishes, so try to guess which one it is now!
