I'm happy to announce that our gas line was finally fixed late this afternoon, and I had just enough light to finish filming this tasty, cider-braised pork shoulder roast. Please check it out tomorrow!
Cide. The sweet or dry very alcoholic fermented apple bevorage found in the UK or the not so alcoholic american vertion I have heard of but not experianced?
Although come to think of it I am sure all will be good. Cider vinager sounds interesting though...never come accross that one before.
This sounds so yummy I am going to make it to take to friends on Saturday who have been without power all week (we live in NH and that storm just totaled a good portion of our area)! So fantastic and hearty and I can already taste it!

Anyway looks like one to try.
...if my eyes do not betray me, those appear to be sweet potato fries nestled flirtatiously against that slab of pork...
