Oops! And, Happy Holidays!

Better late than never! Yes, this post was supposed to be done on Monday, letting you all know I was off this week for Christmas break; but apparently with all the drinking, eating, shopping, and drinking, it never got done.

So, just to make it official, I was off this week, and technically next week, since Allrecipes.com is on break until the New Year. However, I will be posting one last video for 2016, after the holiday, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, have a wonderful holiday, and, as always, enjoy!

Yes, over the Holidays, it's easy to forget things when you're wrapped up in drinking and eating and eating and drinking, it's totally understandable to let your mind wander and you let some things fall by the wayside. Drinking.

Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, Chef!

Chef John,
My boyfriend and I love to cook together as kind of a hobby/bonding experience, mostly because we've become big "foodies" together. We just stumbled upon your YouTube channel a few weeks ago and watch it together RELIGIOUSLY. So ultimately, I just wanted to tell you thank you for making cooking so fun, having such positive personality in your videos, and making the overall experience so exciting. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Of course we both wish you very happy holidays...that they bring you nothing but happiness and look forward to watching what else you have in store for us!

Lots of love,
Vida

Your prime rib recipe saved my Christmas. Had never cooked such a small one (2.9 lbs.) before and as off the wall as your directions sounded, I gave it a try. Perfection! Thanks so very much and a very Merry Christmas!
