Unfortunately I was missing the cream. A quick search on a cream substitute led me to a science experiment gone horribly wrong. I ended up putting 1/2 cup of sour cream in the bisque ( is it no longer a bisque??) and used the immersion blender on high for 3-5 minutes The taste was great and the texture was very silky.
