My husband is a truck driver, so I gave up cooking dinner at dinner time years ago. I cook whenever is convenient and dish up in a cold Pyrex rather than a hot plate, and stick in the fridge to be nuked when anyone is ready to eat, which can vary between 3 PM and 2 AM.

Anything that is REALLY better right when it's cooked, like pancakes, poutin, most pasta dishes or risotto, I make on the weekend. But 90% of my cooking is for reheating.
Jackie Pattihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05045742074108609096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7173052990851751381.post-63863535769542710672017-10-19T19:57:30.936-04:002017-10-19T19:57:30.936-04:00Shoulda decorated with chive flowers if for no oth...Shoulda decorated with chive flowers if for no other reason than to keep them from spreading and taking over the world. I never get pimentos but I use diced up fresh, red pepper. When I don't have chives, I use a bit of green onion. I also add just a bit of ground mustard like in homemade mac and cheese. But the kicker was when I served it with fresh steamed cauliflower. Have you ever had cauliflower with cheese? Yeah this is even better. The prime minister David Ben-Gurion, asked the food engineers to come up with a wheat-based rice substitute. They resulting rice-shaped roasted wheat pellets became a huge success and later on different shapes were introduced such as round couscous-like shapes which are being used in the recipe.Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05069750174040376328noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7173052990851751381.post-78837206258764212712013-04-13T21:31:27.802-04:002013-04-13T21:31:27.802-04:00I loved this. I'm a fan of mac and cheese, but those backed mac and cheese recipes that use a pound of cheese are so heavy and dense I can barely stand it.
