As for you rescuing a firefighter in a tree--bravo..always help those who help us. But I have to question why he was trying to save a cat in a tree however. Did the cat call 911? Cats get into trees all the time and they can certainly get down without any problem. They don't need ladders. Cats do not need our 'rescue' efforts to get them out of a tree. Cheetahs and Mountain Lions often hang out in trees. I mean how many dead cat pelts do you see blowing in the breeze hanging from tree limbs?
