Things I've Made That I Wished I'd Filmed, Part 74: Five-Spice Peach Tartlet

UPDATE: I forgot this recipe is from an old Julia Child's cookbook! I'm going to film for my Julie & Julia post for Monday. Stay tuned!

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: I did film the peach tartlet, but I decided not to use it for the
Julie & Julia post for Monday. Instead I decided to film my favorite Julia Child recipe, a delicious roasted chicken with watercress. Stay tuned!

Chef, what happened to your 100% natural and cheerful greeting video previously in the right upper corner - and why this new, strained look?

This looks delicious. I'm new to your blog and can't wait to see this recipe or the movie!

IMHO, the previous intro was too casual, but was meant well in keeping with the general tone of your blog. The black shirt and freeze frame body language (hand gesturing down)was forming a bad first impression. The newer intro is better with your chef whites, but a little too manic in the delivery.

Manic? Too fast; too much movement, perhaps, but manic? Ouch! I see someone who's "high" on the subject of his blog. All is good, though, as these comments about his short clip introducing the site can really help him prepare for his next big step.

Looks amazingly good!

I need to see this one - so it could be something my family really might enjoy..........even as picky as they are.
