Flying to the Finger Lakes for a Few Family Feasts

Just a quick note to let you all know I'm flying out late tonight to visit my mother, Pauline, and the rest of the family for a couple weeks.

I'm happy to report I have a few new videos filmed and ready to go, like this penne pasta with neck sauce for example. Stay tuned for those new recipes, and of course, the usual fun and filler from the Finger Lakes!

Have a great time and please tell your mother thank you for her pie crust recipe. I've made her key lime pie eight pies eight times so far and it turns out perfect every time. It's the most requested recipe I get from co-workers and friends. Naturally, I send them to her video. :)

Oops. I wasn't drunk. Just a careless editor. I have the day off work and it feels like a simmering kind of day, so, with San Marzano tomatoes on hand, I'm off to make your tomato sauce again.

Hi Chef John, thank you so much for sharing all these delicious recipes... I was wondering if you could post a recipe of fried rice and chow mein. Many thanks.. BTW, have a wonderful time with your family.

Thanks John for all your recipes. Teaching myself how to cook and your site is definitely my number one source for inspiration. Are you from Upstate NY by any chance (Finger Lakes, Cornell Chicken)? I grew up in Olean NY, small town in the Southern Tier, living in the Mission now. Cheers!
