Happy 4th of July!

As many of you know, our annual July 4th tradition is usually a video featuring four girls playing “Stars and Stripes Forever” on the Trombone, but this year I decided to switch things up when I saw this video of Doug Smith performing Sousa’s classic on the guitar – something I didn't think was possible. I hope you all have a fun and safe Fourth of July. Enjoy!

Haha wow! During the lead up I was having trouble imagining what it would sound like. I couldn't separate the tune from the sound of band instruments; it's so ingrained. Fun rendition - Thanks for sharing Chef John!

That's awesome - thanks so much for sharing. "Mr. Guitar" himself also did a version of this many years ago. I admire anybody who can play a guitar; I can't manage it. I know my way around a piano a little bit, but I can't handle six rows of notes at once that don't line up with each other.
