Q: How do you like them apples? A: They're alright, but I wish they looked like swans.

This very quick and completely useless apple swan video is a little tease for a demo I'm producing for About.com. That upcoming version will be much slower and include step-by-step instructions. I know some of you won't wait, and will give this a try, so here's some advice: have band-aids nearby.

Really, that's the only thing a red delicious could ever be good for that I've seen. ~applause~ :D

I'm issuing Chef John a citation for speeding.

Very cool, but a bit too fast for me (I'm slow in math, also). Would like to try it.

think I mentioned the speed thing in the post! ;-) stay tuned

For Lihnelle, fyi, red delicious apples are also good for overnight crockpot oatmeal made with steel cut oats. Great for a cold Sunday morning!

Stop looking at me, swan!

Busted my butt to prepare some delicious grub for the Halloween party I hosted for all my friends and family. Guess what garnered the most compliments? The frickin apple swan...

Absolutely beautiful. This video melts my heart... I think I might have just watched it 10 times in a row. Would you mind sharing the name of the song?
