Oh i can't wait for this. Most of the people on the internet who have tried to make mug cakes all ended up with rubbers.

I wanna see what Chef John can do with it!

Chef John,
I was skeptical about trying this because of past experience creating chocolate hockey pucks. Horrible.

But I thought, what the heck, you went to chef school and tried this recipe. What could possibly go wrong?

I used regular chocolate chips and walnuts and my whiskyette for mixing the wet ingredients and my spunula for the flour.

Used 4" round crocks. Did the ol' tappa tappa. Power on High. Timer on 45 seconds.

Result: Perfectamundo!!!

No ice cream in the house. But I drizzled caramel sauce on top. Oh yeah.

The whiskyette probably helped as well.
