Just wanted to let everyone know I’ll be on vacation this week. I'd call it a "Spring Break," except that makes it sound like I'm going to be chugging beer through a funnel, half-naked, while listening to Flo Rida, which is not accurate.
I'll actually be sipping beer, half-naked, while listening to Flo Rida. Anyway, I'm looking forward to a the break, and suggest
you use the time to catch up on videos you’ve missed. We have so, so many. Thank
you, and we’ll see you next week!
Have you brewed your own beer? Anyway, enjoy your vacation! Maybe when you get back - vegetable lasagna, duck confit, or yogurt. Regardless, thank you for your blog and videos.
Have a happy break time! Thank you so much for helping me find the joy of cooking (and eating!). After I made a couple of your recipes, hubby said we could even entertain now...lol
I've been wondering about what I can make for hubby to take to work. He is a gardener and he works outside, so there's no way for him to heat up the food. He would also like to avoid beans and raw salads. Any suggestions? :)
After years of reading this blog, and using many of the recipes, I've finally come up with a request I'd like to make but the request "button" seems to have disappeared. Can someone help? What I'd like to request is a CJ take on Malfatti. This dish has an interesting history in the city of Napa, CA (google it). I am thinking that CJ would have his own interesting spin on the dish and I'd really enjoy hearing it.
Hey, Chef John! When you get back, could you teach us how to make kettle corn at home? I don't even know if its possible, but I have always wanted to make it at home instead of waiting to buy it at farmer's markets and street fairs. Thanks so much for your content!
Yo johnny, you need a chauffeur or anything just let me know... I'm available... I work for peanuts... crepes, chicken wings, meatlo... hey have a good time pay attention to then better half and lastly NO WORK!! like you always say...Enjoy. #3 fan, Terry Sr.
Please return soon. I miss your sense of humor and learning something new with cooking. I can only watch so many older videos, which I've already seen too many times, before I want to see something different! Hope you're having a great time!
Have a wonderful vacation, and thank you for helping us all to learn and grow in our culinary adventures. You have had a tremendous impact on my family and we eat much healthier and better thanks to you. Cheers!

Next to Casey Neistat, you are the best thing on You Tube. No nonsense. Thanks anxious for Easter recipes.

Enjoy yourself and drink your beer any way you choose. Everyone needs a break now and then and spring is the right time to do it.
