Finger Lickin' Spring Chicken - Game Recognize Game Hen

I'm still working on the redesign, but I got tired of looking at that stupid jackhammering Chef clipart, so I took a break to post this photo of a very sexy, and young, spring chicken (is that redundant?).

Also known as "game hen," this tender and sweet bird was marinated in blood orange juice, garlic, chili sauce
and rosemary. It was then grilled over hickory to this gorgeous finish.

Forks and knifes were quickly replaced by fingers, and the fabulous birds were torn limb from limb. God they were good. I promise to film this one next time! Okay, back
to the lab.

Wow, what a tease. I came, (to your site), I saw, (a delicious looking game hen), I concurred, (with my wife that you absolutely have to make a video of this the next time!)

Looks delicious...

A jackhammer? I thought it was a tiny chef "doctoring" your site using a very large syringe and needle. Glad to see something more appetizing.

The chickens are a beautiful replacement. Are game hens the same as Cornish Hens?

yes, they are basically the same thing.

I am definately making that! I need a sub for blood orange, but not just regular oranges-how about orange and pomegranate?

Thanks,
Jeff

great call! and i added some olive oil and some of the zest. Don't forget to shove a little of the marinade under the skin.

It's looking great. The site I mean.

The chicken recipe is now a must to post. It looks ridiculously delicious.
Just think, now is your chance at giving us all the bird, and we'll all be grateful for it! How many time can you say that in your life?

Hi John - I just found your site (not sure from where...too many tabs open in my browser!), but your site and concept look incredible. I just watched your video on pizza dough and it has already answered a basic question for me on what the sponge should ideally look like (I always lean too far toward "luke warm" water, and it of course never works correctly).

Thanks for your work here - I've subscribed, and I'll definitely be returning!

Best to you,
