Hey Chef John, I was wondering if you had any plans on covering the 5 mother sauces. I just read about them on Wikipedia and realized I had never heard of 2 of them.
It's ok. I'm under the weather but you inspired me to heat a jar of home-canned white beans and puree them with stock. I topped them with buttered croutons made in the oven with "Dave's" bread and crumbled bacon (of course, used your awesome foil-oven trick as seen on video.)
