I'm not sure where you're reading this from, but for the sake of this post I'll assume it's freezing outside, and you're craving a huge bowl of steaming, hot soup. Sweaters are great, but when you need to get warm from the inside out, there is really only one way...well, two actually, but this isn't a cocktails blog, so we're just going with soup. First thanks for the years of great recipes :) I've used your site for 3 years and have done about 30 of your recipes.
There is one recipe I'm having an issue with and I think it is because of a mistake on the site. The Moussaka Burger, I run into issues with making the rue for the cheese sauce. I think the Olive Oil and Flour portions are off. If you watch the video it looks like there is a lot more floor than what you claim on your site.
I have to spend a good amount of time adjusting the Olive to Flour ratio in order to get the rue right. It is a pain :(
I have several 1 lb bags of lump crab meat in my freezer (a gift from a relative that lives in Washington on the Columbia River that catches, cooks and picks the crabs - I love that guy!) I remembered you had a great crab cake recipe (which I am making tonight) and came to your site to look it up. Totally got sidetracked by these wonderful soup recipes. I make the mushroom soup about once a week in the winter but now I must make the bumblebee soup - sounds totally delicious. Hm, got any good soup recipes with crab?
I believe I used four tablespoons of flour and two olive oil. I doubled the cheese and the milk. It would come out decent, but I usually had too much cheese sauce.
I will try your suggestion of 1 tbsp of Olive Oil and 2 tbsp of Flour. I think it should work, it is the same ratio that I was using but would make less cheese sauce.

It is winter season is going on our area. Hot soup in winter increases the enjoyment of the day. There are different type of soup here in this post I keep this on my heart for must try.
It's hot here in Puerto Rico and if I wait until it's cold to have a soup it will never happen....and I love soup! I just eat it in front of a fan and I take a cold bath before and after I eat it.

All but the latter sound yummy. And yes it is cold here. not used to more that a few cold night and cool days per year.

Well I live in HI, so it's not cold out, but on rainy, dark days I totally want soup. I've pinned this for those days.

It was another day of boring, sunny, mild weather here on Marco Island...(SW Florida) I certainly wouldn't mind some cooler weather for a change.
Another note, I'm kinda partial to Fabada soup... at least that's what it says on the label.
It's got white beans, chorizo, bacon, morcilla, along with ground pork in it along with various other delicious flavors.
Would you happen to have a comparable soup in your kitchen repertoire that you might wanna share?

That does look like 2 tbsp of flour not one. I updated the recipe. Very strange no one had complained before! How much are you using after testing?
