Nice work, Phil.

By the way, Chef J, not a soccer / calcio fan? No sign of a World Cup themed recipe...

Is it just that Brazilian food bores you? Like soccer does?

Oh yeah, like John said, maybe feijoada? Chef, there's a tiny place in Hayes Valley named Canto Do Brasil that make a divine feijoada. If you could replicate that, I'd... I don't know what I do. I'd be grateful, for one!

Chef, what is your opinion on using Accent (aka pure glorious MSG) in certain dishes, especially fake-Asian ones?

Hahaha. Love it!

I'm against MSG. Not because it will hurt you, or is toxic, etc., but it does bad things to your blood sugar and encourages binge eating and fat storage. I try to avoid it. I don't stress if it's in something I eat in an Asian spot, but don't add it at home!
