My father-in-law's generosity is second only to his fear of flying. In addition to personal chef, bodyguard, and wingman duties, I also serve as train companion.
I just made the Duck Ragu tonight... it was good! can't really taste the duck but my boyfriend & roommate liked it. =) my ciabatta was kind of spongy, maybe cause i left it out for so long haha. i still wanna make corned beef but I can't find it anywhere! haha. my boyfriend is the most skeptical guy ever and while I was watching your video even he thought you were funny. haha.
I lived in Palo Alto, CA, until I moved to Alaska in 1991. There was a wonderful restaurant along the rails in Palo Alto called "Late for the Train". They had the most wonderful breakfast and lunch menu. I remember lots of capers in their menu. Ummm...capers. Don't know if they are still in business, but if they are, you might check them out.
I really enjoy your video recipes. I've followed quite a few of your recommendations, and have never been disappointed. I've shared a lot of food with friends and have always given you the credit.

That's a good one for people who don't arrive on time, but you need a place called:
Late Train - Unplanned Overnight Visitors Hotel & Bar
for more suggestions be sure to visit the
Flagstaff Visitors Bureau of the Chamber of Commerce
it was apropos since we could get on the train or we would have been late (or latte) for our train in LA.
Have you ever considered airplanes?

The lack of Seinfeld references disappoints me.
OK, let's have one...
Sounds like a death trap to me. Hitchcock would love this stuff.
Was this coffee house next to an Aw Shucks, I Guess You'll Just Have To Stay The Night Inn?
Creepy.
Though, I hear that their Blunt Force Trauma To The Head Breakfast is to die for.
Scott - Boston
if you Google the Monte Vista hotel, it's totally haunted
I'm a little slow this morning.
Late for the Train means, damn I missed the train might as well get some coffee?
that's sort of funny to me.
