Still, it looks like it's too much into the bowl. Let the background be seen a bit, and when flipping them, zoom in. Also, adjust the height and angle, so let the background to be seen, and let the pan be seen when wanted by adjusting the height and angle on the Tripod.
I think I may have neglected to tell you: one of my life's missions is to sample crab cakes all across the country... HD looks great, Chef! So do the crab cakes ;)
Not only does it look like you can almost smell them...but they look delicious too...the camera doesn't ruin the look. The colours are nice and vivid. Have a great Xmas John, and hope your next year it's a good as this one on recipes and great tips.
