Geoducking
I had no idea I knew so little about the Geoduck! This video, entitled "Don't Judge a Clam by Its Cover: Geoduck," was produced by the incomparable Liza de Guia, from Food Curated. This is such a cool and informative segment on geoduck, which I've been seeing show up on sushi menus more often.
"Dirty Jobs" with Mike Roe had a show on the geoduck too.
Why is it pronounced "gooey duck" instead of what its spelling would otherwise suggest? Is it just to emphasize how disgustingly hideous it is?
What a strange creature!
