I just received an advance copy of the American cookbook I recently authored for Parragon Publishing. I was just too excited to wait for better light, so I shot this with my iPhone tonight for a little tease on YouTube. While this is not the official Food Wishes cookbook, I'm very, very proud of it. Stay tuned for specific details regarding pricing and availability. Thanks!

Congratulations, it looks wonderful. A few of the blogs I have read for years has published a book. Is your book going to be in stores?
Yes, just not sure where or when yet, Thanks!
I was grinning ear to ear for that entire 0:54. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy.
Autographed copies ?
Yes, all the copies I sell off this site will be signed... or (as the old joke goes) for a small fee, unsigned. ;-)
Way to go man!
Way to go, Chef John! If you will it, it is no dream!

Just found your website today. I made beef stock and then used it for the Beans & Greens (instead of the Chicken Broth), everyone absolutely loved it. Thanks a lot.
Well done Chef, and, as the proud owner of a Chef John produced DVD, I can't wait for my signed copy of the book! Congratulations, you deserve any and all praise ;)
SOLD! I Want one! congrats on the publishing! Cannot wait to buy one. You should do the first recipe audio cookbook! :)
I'm knife shopping(about time I got a real set & chef knife slicer) but can't afford these dreamy Shun Ken Onion knives I read about. What would you suggest? I'm done with these 'cuts thru a boot and cuts a tomato' serrated cheapo knives. What do you look for?
Hey Congrats Chef on the absolutely delicious looking cookbook!!
Congratulations are in order. I hope to have your boook soon :D
Congratulations! Can't wait until it has come out, I hope I won't have to wait too long to get it in London :) Very exciting
Chef:
Bravo. I'm looking forward to adding your book to my collection.
Book tour?
We have a delightful indie bookstore down here in Del Mar, California, called "The Bookworks" in the Flower Hill mall. I'm sure they'd love to have you come down and do a talk and signing.
You can visit my favorite cheese shop, which is in the same strange little mall.
Nice work Chef! I hope you sell a bunch.
Congrats Chef for the Book! You must be proud to have your own cook book. I wish you good luck!
congrats chef john! I will definitely be getting a copy. I wish you the best at your meeting with the foodnetwork execs! they'd be crazy if they don't give you a show!
Thanks everyone!!!! there are no royalties tied to the book, so I don't imagine doing to much touring to promote. :-)
From one paisan to another, I can only say, in the words of our people...

What do you mean you're not Jewish?

Hi Chef John.
I just wanted to say thank you for this book. I just got it with the mail today, and working hard converting the measurements to metric for some of the recipes, so I can pretend I'm American.
Thanks!
Hi chef John
I wanted to contact you some other way but I couldn't so I found this comment page. Fisrt of all congratulations on your book. I really really appreciate what you're doing here and I made some of the foods from your recipes and your well made and well described videos. Thank you so much. I have a question about what kind of a fry pan is good to buy. Both in non stick and in stainless steel category. What is the most versatile one that you use more.
Thanks
Thanks! Sorry I don't do recs! I have a totally random array of every brand. Allclad is nice but $$. There are tons of articles online to guide you. Also check amazon ratings!
Hello!!! I love your recipes! How can I order a copy of your book? If it's signed it's even better! A gift for the man that does all the cooking for me >.<
Hello chef John
I would like to substitute the heavy milk with coconut milk. Do you think this can work out? If you do so, do you have any special/different hints for this approach?
