I just filmed a video recipe for "minute steak," and for the pan sauce I used my wife Michele's amazing barbecue sauce, SFQ. When I post the video I'll also be giving more information, including how to order her sauce, just in case you're looking for interesting holiday gifts for the foodies in your life. If you just can't wait, follow this link to the SFQ - The Original San Francisco Style Barbecue Sauce homepage.

I didn't know until now that Michelle had a sauce (well, not the bottled kind anyway - she is quite saucy on her own). That is fantastic. Please bring some on your next trip out!
Me want ! Gimmie.
I envy those who made it into your personal friends' network. How nice it must be to know such a talented Chef and scoff one's face with all his finely prepared gourmet foods!
Look forward to seeing the video, tweet me when you post it!
Can't wait! I've suffered from minute steak mellow drama for years. My mom was way too good at producing steak-like hockey pucks instead of the picture I see here. Hope I can teach an old dog a new trick =)
When cooking steak, I have a problem of my butter (or oil) turning brown/black.
Brown is okay. Black isn't, and is from too high heat and maybe a too thin pan. You need a heavy high quality pan.
Could you possibly recommend one? I have been using a sauce pan(?)..
Sorry, not up on the current brands. Mine is a copper pan from France which was a gift. I'd check ratings/reviews on amazon.
Oh and by the way, I got super duper excited that you're online at the same time as me!! xDDD
*(Slightly bordering inapporpriate-ly) Obsessive fan right here!!* Just found out a childhood friend of mine (in LA; I'm in Chicago) is a huge fan of yours too!! - not that I was in any way doubting your omnipresent awesomeness.
