Family Matters
I generally like my double entendres to be a little more lighthearted, but such is not the case. This is just a quick note to let you know that I'll need to take a break from the blog this week to attend to some pressing family matters. I will be back before you know it, and I want to wish all of you a happy and thoughtful Memorial Day.

I was just thinking, as you'll perhaps be away a while, maybe some of your fans here can post a favorite non Chef John recipe. I have one for awesome crispy citrusy pork carnitas you can make in an hour and no one can stop eating - courtesy of my Ecuadorian street cook friends. Also a good one I call ratatouille lasagna if anyone would like it. I don't have a freakishly small spoon but I do have a freakishly small fork. Take care and all the best.
