Finally, an appropriate use of the Plastic Wrap filter in Photoshop! Or maybe not. Anyway, we're on Day 1 of a little kitchen remolding project, so if I get a bit quiet on the blog over the next few days, that will be the very good reason. Regardless, the show must go on, and I should still have a brand new video for you sometime tomorrow. Wish us luck, and stay tuned!

Good luck indeed!
I suppose if they said it'd take "a few days" they really mean "a few weeks". At least we, your viewers, will be suffering right along with you.
I'm sure your new kitchen will be beautiful! I've been reading your blog for many years, and love your recipes! Recently, I have been turned off towards meat (particularly red meat), so I've been exploring the world or spicy salads, strange grains, and the task of cooking delicate fish! Many of your recipes use capers, and it's my magic weapon! I was surprised that these constraints actually invigorated me [ to create and experiment with new combinations]. I hope you never stop being inspired! I'm looking forward to see what you cook up next!
I'll take this as an opportunity to do some spring cleaning myself.Have fun with the new kitchen
Gas range and oven?
We just bought a house that came with a Bosch dishwasher. I can barely hear it running. I'll never buy American again.
I'm on my 3rd dishwasher in 25 years. My mother is still using her 1st dishwasher, a KitchenAid which was installed in 1974. They don't make them like that anymore.
Good luck with the remodeling, Chef.
Good Luck! Can't wait to see the finished look. I love before/after photos :)
Chef John, next few days might be a good time to complete your Product Recommendations page.
