Happy National Pie Day!

I realize it’s almost over, but I just heard from my friend, and world-famous pie guru, Kate McDermott, that today was National Pie Day. To celebrate, I decided to repost my personal favorite pie video – the strawberry rhubarb custard pie!  This sweet/tart pie is ultra-simple to make, and a great way to enjoy rhubarb’s bright, unique flavor. Click here to see the original post and ingredients. Enjoy!

I'd argue that Pie day is actually March 14th.

Thought Pie day was March 14, or 3.14

You Californians are really out of touch with the seasons!
Where am I supposed to get decent strawberries for the next few months? :)

I was wondering is the recipe listed for the topping?

There's no recipe for the topping, it's just whipped cream!

My hubby is going to make this for me come spring (although he doesn't know it yet).
Sorry, I'm FOUR YEARS late to this conversation.
