The Web's Most Camera Shy Chef Introduces YouTube's New Moderator Feature!

YouTube's "Moderator" feature allows a YouTube publisher (me) to collect commentary, questions, or ideas (hopefully in the form of very creative videos) on our channel, and then watch the best ones rise to the top, as voted on by the Food Wishes faithful.

To celebrate the launch I'm running the first ever official Food Wishes contest, called "The Summer of You." What is that, and how do you play? Watch the video, and then do what the guy with the mustache says. Enjoy!

If you would like to submit an idea, click here
! Good luck, and please, no side bets.

I just have to say that I fully approve of all the Seinfeld references. "Time to taste the fruits and let the juices drip down my chin!"

Thanks for all your work.

You have another week, but since it's all by Youtube peeps vote, it may be hard to get lots of votes in a short time. Speaking of Venezuela. I made arepas for the first time yestesday!

Unknown said...

and how did it come out...??? did u find Harina Pan (or precooked flour)... u can make a lot of different things with harina pan...! ;)... just by adding sugar, cheese... and the Arepas can be filled with whatever u like, it can be fried or baked..!

Chef John said...

Yes I found PAN! Love it. they came good. Had them at Caracas Arepas bar in NYC and it was love at first bite. I'm going to do a video soon.
