I just posted a recap of the Welcome Reception I attended last night at the St. Regis Hotel in Aspen. The food was prepared by four previous winners from Top Chef. Harold Dieterle, Ilan Hall, Stephanie Izard, and Hosea Rosenberg eachhad their own station from which to showcase one of their dishes.

great recap! does the fried egyptian cheese taste similar to your fried halloumi? we did that a few times and it was fantastic! Also, was Hung Huynh there? We just volunteered at Taste of the Nation, Los Angeles, our first foodie event and had a blast!!
Thanks! it was similar, but not as salty. Hung was not there.
